4 Channel Wireless Microphone System

by Murtaza
(Englishtown, NJ, USA)

I am in the market for a 4 channel wireless microphone system. Currently I have an X-Cell AV system with 2 lapel microphones and 2 handheld microphones. The system worked well for about a year and then the quality began to go downhill. The antennae on the wireless transmitter for the lapel microphones both broke and even before that the microphone began to drop the signal periodically. For example during a speech the microphone would cut out for about a second or two and this would happen multiple times. Aside from that, the battery covers on both the transmitters broke and the battery compartment magically became too big to hold a 9V batter in place. I do not know why any of these things happened and I do not know how to solve this problem either. Any solutions would be helpful. If it is a low-quality system, I am then in the market to get a new better quality system. I would prefer to keep a 4 channel system because multiple microphones are sometimes used simultaneously. I am looking for suggestions as to what system I should buy. My budget is $1000, so anything under that would work. Preferably in the $200 to $500 range but if I have to pay more for a solid system, I dont mind that. Thanks for your help and advice.
