Microphone troubles

Okay so my headset mic was working absoulutely fine and then akll of a sudden ut stopped being able to record my voice and only records bacground noise it records a loud buzzing noise and sometimes music coming out of the headfones i have tried everything and checked everything and can't think wot to do do u have any ideas?
