Samson G Track and Windows Sound Recorder

My Windows XP SP2 Sucessfully detected the Samson G Track USB Condenser Microphone and installed the same. I got the green light on the Microphone indicates that there is no problem with it. As a basic test i want to record using Windows Sound Recorder, but failed to get anything.
