by johnny bravo

I have 4 shure SM58 mics.they are 25+years old. do they lose the quality of producing clean sound.they have been dropped many of times. one gives me feedback with little gain, the other have differant vocal quality. do I need new mics?

we have many sm 58's in our mic inventory that are as old as yours and very servicable. it is possible to buy aftermarket capsule covers to replace your dented ones (google "sm58 replacement parts".
